Lawrence Engineering’s Debut at Medical Technology Ireland 2023: A Resounding Success
In September 2023, Lawrence Engineering achieved a significant milestone by participating in its inaugural trade show, Medical Technology Ireland, held in Galway.
This event is the leading annual gathering within the Irish medical technology sector, and is a key meeting place for buyers and suppliers in the industry. This year’s event was the largest edition to date, with over 300 exhibitors across 4 floors.
Our strategic placement at Stand 49 on the ground floor proved to be fortuitous. This prime location ensured a constant flow of visitors passing by our booth, affording us invaluable exposure throughout the two-day event. The event also coincided with the launch of our brand refresh the previous week, and our booth design reflected these changes in the business, showcasing our full service offering from mould and tool design through to component manufacturing and sub assembly.
All in all this event proved to be a resounding success. It provided an exceptional opportunity to engage face-to-face with our valued customers, fostering meaningful discussions about current applications and challenges. Many of our clients were pleasantly surprised by our comprehensive range of services, which this event enabled us to showcase effectively. Of particular interest to our audience were our product transfer capabilities, high-precision pins, extrusion tooling, and balloon moulds. Visitors were particularly impressed by the quality of the pins produced on the Rollomatic machine, and we expect an increase in inquires following the event.
In addition to business interactions, our team had the chance to explore the exhibition over the two days, gaining insights into the latest industry innovations that might not typically be encountered in their day-to-day roles. Notably, our Marketing Manager managed to secure a seat at the popular Women in Medtech Forum, featuring insights from prominent female leaders in the industry.
