Lawrence Engineering Named Overall SFA Small Business 2026

We are delighted to announce that we have been named Overall National SFA Small Business Winner at the 2026 National Small Business Awards. We also took home the Exporter of the Year award on the evening.

The awards, run by the Small Firms Association (SFA), celebrate the best of Irish small business across a number of different categories. The Overall National Winner is not a category that businesses apply for. It is selected by the Small Firms Association from among all category winners on the night, making it one of the most unexpected and significant honours a small Irish business can receive.

“We were truly blown away by receiving these awards. The experience on the night, and the response from people since, has been incredible. This is a proud moment for our whole team.” said James Lawrence, Managing Director.

“My father Michael founded this company in 1984 and built something truly special. To stand on that stage as Ireland’s top small business is something none of us saw coming, and it means the world to all of us.”
