Lawrence Engineering Celebrates 40 Years in Business

Friday 22 November marked a significant milestone for Lawrence Engineering as we celebrated 40 years in business. Founded by Michael Lawrence in 1984, the company has grown from a small toolmaking workshop beside the family home to an internationally recognised partner for leading MedTech manufacturers.

It was important that we celebrated this key business milestone, and get the opportunity to mark this milestone with employees, customers, suppliers and industry partners. We hosted an Open Day in our Collooney contract manufacturing facility which was added to the business during the Covid pandemic and never had an official opening. Leo Clancy, CEO of Enterprise Ireland, officiated the ceremony, celebrating the company’s evolution and contributions to the industry.

The event was a resounding success, offering our employees a chance to celebrate while networking and reconnecting with industry partners. While it’s not officially the Christmas season yet, we embraced the festive spirit with our Christmas decorations adding cheer to the occasion.

Later that evening, we hosted a celebration for current and former employees spanning the last 40 years at Castle Dargan. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the company’s achievements and let loose with a well-deserved evening of fun.
